CORE DRILLS LINE

High drilling speed

A diamond core drill is a tool used for cutting or drilling hard materials such as glass, ceramic, marble, granite or concrete. It consists of a metal body with a coating of diamond powder on the tip. The diamond powder on the tip of the hole allows you to create precise and clean cuts or holes in hard materials. Diamond drill bits are widely used in construction, glass and stone processing, as well as in other industries where it is necessary to process resistant materials. It is important to note that diamond bits require the use of coolants or lubricants during operation to prevent overheating and extend the service life of the hole. In addition, it is necessary to use an appropriate rotation speed and feed rate for the best results and prevent damage to the tool.

CORE DRILLS DIMENSION TOLERANCES

To ensure an optimal use of the tool and the quality of the final product, it is essential to determine their tolerances. Take a look at the charts below to check the parameters.

CORE DRILLS ROTATION SPEED

The indicated RPM (revolutions per minute) have to be intended as the recommended ones in order to get the best free cutting and duration performances. Relevant tolerance of such speed is +/- 5%

COOLING WATER

In order to get the best core drill performances, a suitable quantity of cooling water needs to be used, according to the diameter of the core drills: reduce the cooling water pressure when the core drill diameter increases..

DIAMOND GRIT-SIZE

Below a comparative chart of correspondence of the grain sizes of the diamond.
